Flying Buttress Mountain


As a diagram, this is the complete building. My aphorism for the Ruskin's Lamp of Memory chapter is about being against the idea of "complete building". Buildings are never complete and every room in a building has a potential of becoming another building within the larger.

The boundary, the perimeter is what divides the building from the city, fortified to become another city in itself. The criteria and the technique of defining this boundary is also important.
